Privacy notice
This notice explains how Gallivan Limited (“we”, “us”) uses personal information when you use Does AI Name You? at doesainameyou.com, ask for a free Snapshot, buy a Report or Fix, or email us.

What we collect
- When you email us for a free Snapshot: what you put in your email, usually your business name, website (if you have one), town or area, main service and your email address. If we later add an online form, we’ll update this notice.
- If you buy: payment details are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, your email, and a reference linking the purchase to your Snapshot. We do not store your full card number.
- If you book a call or buy the Fix: the details you give on the booking tool or Fix intake form (for example phone, website access notes, Google Business Profile details, services, hours). We only use facts you give us.
- Technical: basic server logs needed to run the site. This site has no third-party trackers or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To run your free Snapshot and email you the results — because you asked us to (contract / steps at your request).
- To deliver a paid Report or Fix, send receipts, and re-check after 30 days where included — to perform the contract.
- To send tips and offers about being found by AI — only if you ask us to (consent). You can unsubscribe any time.
- To keep a suppression list of people who have opted out or asked us not to contact them — legitimate interests / legal obligation, so we do not email them again.
- For PECR-compliant B2B cold email to limited companies and LLPs only — legitimate interests, with a clear opt-out in every message. We do not cold-email sole traders or ordinary partnerships.
Who helps us process it
We use trusted tools to run the service. Depending on what you use, that can include:
- OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity (to run the AI checks — we send the questions we build from the details you send us, not your card details)
- Stripe (payments)
- Google (Sheets / Docs / email / calendar booking, where used)
- Beehiiv (email to people who opted in to marketing)
- Cloudflare (hosting / DNS for doesainameyou.com)
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. That includes the AI providers we use to run your check: OpenAI, Anthropic and Perplexity. Each of them says in its data processing terms that it protects UK personal data using the EU standard contractual clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum issued by the Information Commissioner. For our other providers, we rely on the safeguards set out in their own terms, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. If you’d like more detail, email [email protected].
How long we keep it
Snapshot and Report records: usually up to 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need to keep a record of a purchase or opt-out for longer. Suppression / opt-out records are kept so we can honour your choice.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. To opt out of marketing, use the unsubscribe link or email [email protected] with “unsubscribe” or “no thanks”. To exercise other rights, email the same address. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Children
This service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
If we update this notice we’ll change the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell people by email where we can.
